- Two years of experience as a restaurant manager with extensive knowledge of restaurant operations
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to hear well amongst loud background noise

- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to hear well amongst loud background noise
- Previous sushi experience preferred
- Four years of experience as a restaurant manager including production preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Job Duties
- Monthly meeting with Kitchen Manager to present restaurant numbers including food and labor costs and sales
- Manage operations during shifts including decision-making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling and planning
- Train and develop hourly team members through ongoing feedback, coaching and performance reviews
- Ensure newly hired team members complete appropriate training plans
- Interact frequently with guests to ensure satisfaction and address issues
- Monitor kitchen operations and promptly address any misalignments
- Identify operational opportunities to build sales and control costs and implement plans
- Manage inventory accurately and cost-effectively
- Maintain food quality through cleanliness, organization, and sanitation
- Coach and develop kitchen talent
- Oversee purchasing, receiving, and storing food products ensuring proper use and par levels
- Foster open communication between kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Ensure security procedures protect team members, guests and company assets
- Enforce adherence to recipe standards and checklist procedures
- Assist with prep and line duties as needed after managerial tasks
- Support Kitchen Manager in other locations, events and menu development when requested
