- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet established standards
- Help manage inventory including ordering and receiving supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff fostering a collaborative team environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development of new recipes
- Support cost control measures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
