Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
- Frequent standing walking bending and reaching throughout shift
- Ability to work near heat cold and wet surfaces
- Extended periods of standing and working in a high-volume kitchen
- Safe and proficient use of knives cooking tools and kitchen equipment
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2-4 years of professional cooking experience required prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong culinary skills with proficiency in prep cooking methods and kitchen management
- Excellent understanding of food safety sanitation and allergen management
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead by example and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
- Dependable professional and passionate about hospitality and teamwork
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring smooth service flow and exceptional food quality
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Lead and support the kitchen team during prep and service periods
- Maintain consistent portioning presentation and timing for all dishes
- Ensure kitchen stations are organized stocked and ready for service
- Supervise coach and train kitchen staff to maintain high performance and morale
- Delegate prep and cooking responsibilities effectively to maximize efficiency
