Job Requirements

  • completion of high school education or equivalent
  • prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to follow safety regulations and procedures
  • strong communication skills
  • capability to work effectively in a team
  • ability to manage inventory and food wastage

Job Qualifications

  • proficiency in grasping and communicating chipotle's ethos of prioritizing food with integrity
  • proficiency in the main language(s) spoken in the workplace area
  • completion of high school education or its equivalent
  • prior restaurant-related work experience preferred

Job Duties

  • assure food quality through the precise cooking and preparation of meals according to order specifics and kitchen guidelines
  • manage the monitoring of food wastage and inventory levels, addressing any issues with food quality as necessary
  • enhance team cohesion between the back-of-house crew and front-of-house crew members
  • assist in the transformation of crew members into upcoming kitchen leaders
  • enhance customer service and operational efficiency by fostering effective communication with both crew members and patrons
  • ensure the kitchen area remains sanitary and well-kept
  • oversee the maintenance of kitchen devices to ensure they are in good condition and quickly fixed if any problems arise
