Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or kitchen leadership
- ability to supervise and train staff
- excellent communication skills
- knowledge of safe food handling practices
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- capability to manage inventory and control waste
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties

Job Duties
- Supervises and oversees the production of food
- enforces compliance with employment policies in area of responsibility
- monitors tickets and sets pace during peak hours
- manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant including serving, hosting, cooking
- conducts formal line taste and temperature checks
- ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items
- manages inventory and tracks waste at the direction of Kitchen Manager
- monitors and maintains cleanliness and proper equipment maintenance
- ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
- practices safe food handling procedures
- ensures back of house employees follow established recipes and procedures
- creates a safe environment and assists in employee development
- maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
- fosters culture and lives core values daily
