Job Requirements

- Prior experience working in a restaurant setting
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead and develop team members
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Capability to handle kitchen operations and inventory management
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in grasping and communicating Chipotle's ethos of prioritizing Food With Integrity
- Proficiency in the main language(s) spoken in the workplace area
- Completion of high school education or its equal is necessary
- Candidates with prior restaurant-related work are preferred
Job Duties
- Assure food quality through the precise cooking and preparation of meals according to order specifics and kitchen guidelines
- Manage the monitoring of food wastage and inventory levels, addressing any issues with food quality as necessary
- Enhance team cohesion between the back-of-house crew and front-of-house crew members
- Assist in the transformation of crew members into upcoming kitchen leaders
- Enhance customer service and operational efficiency by fostering effective communication with both crew members and patrons
- Ensure the kitchen area remains sanitary and well-kept
- Oversee the maintenance of kitchen devices to ensure they are in good condition and quickly fixed if any problems arise
