Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in kitchen or food service preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in kitchen or food service management preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling procedures
  • Ability to manage inventory and control waste
  • Experience in supervising a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Willingness to lead by example

Job Duties

  • Supervises and oversees the production of food
  • In conjunction with all management, enforces compliance with all employment policies in area of responsibility
  • Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
  • Manages through hands on supervision of the restaurant including non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking
  • Conducts formal line taste and temperature checks
  • Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • Manages inventory and tracks waste at the direction of the Kitchen Manager
  • Monitors and maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment either directly or through staff
  • Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
  • Understands and practices safe food handling procedures
  • Ensures Back of House employees follow established recipes and procedures
  • Creates a safe environment and assists in developing Back of House employees
  • Maintains cleanliness of the restaurant and ensures safety of guests
  • Maintains culture of the restaurant and lives core values every day including passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose
