  • prior experience in kitchen management or similar supervisory role
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Supervises and oversees the production of food
  • enforces compliance with employment policies
  • monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
  • manages hands-on supervision including serving, hosting, cooking
  • conducts formal line taste and temperature checks
  • ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items
  • manages inventory and tracks waste
  • monitors and maintains equipment cleanliness and maintenance
  • ensures consistency in food and service
  • practices safe food handling
  • ensures back of house employees follow recipes and procedures
  • creates a safe environment and assists in developing back of house employees
  • maintains cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
  • upholds restaurant culture and core values
