Job Duties
- Supervises and oversees the production of food
- enforces compliance with employment policies
- monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
- manages hands-on supervision including serving, hosting, cooking
- conducts formal line taste and temperature checks
- ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items
- manages inventory and tracks waste
- monitors and maintains equipment cleanliness and maintenance
- ensures consistency in food and service
- practices safe food handling
- ensures back of house employees follow recipes and procedures
- creates a safe environment and assists in developing back of house employees
- maintains cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
