Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a kitchen leadership role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stand and move actively during shifts
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in kitchen management or sous chef role
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively
  • Experience in high-volume foodservice environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate daily Back of House operations and supervise food prep, recipe execution, and catering events
  • Monitor and develop kitchen teammates and evaluate staff performance with feedback
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations and maintain stocked kitchen inventory
  • Control operational costs and evaluate kitchen areas for improvement
  • Estimate kitchen needs for goods and create detailed reports on revenues and expenses
  • Participate actively in the fast-paced environment and uphold team energy
  • Collaborate with the Executive Kitchen Manager to implement menus and operational plans
