- Experience as an assistant kitchen manager, shift lead or back-of-house leader in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with standard operating procedures, procedures and system implementation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Computer savvy
- Highly organized and effective in a new restaurant opening environment
- Passion for sustainability and ingredient integrity
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Based in San Jose area
- ServSafe certified

Job Duties
- Lead daily kitchen operations and uphold goop Kitchen's culinary standards
- Train, coach, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
- Ensure recipe adherence, portion control, and consistent execution
- Maintain Health Department compliance, HACCP standards, and strict sanitation protocols
- Manage food and labor costs with a systems-driven approach
- Drive a culture of "Detect, Fix, Prevent" and continuous improvement
- Assist with ordering, invoices, weekly inventory and end of week financial reports
