Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Some college education preferred
- Two years of kitchen experience preferred
- Current Food Handler’s Permit
- Ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict
- Must enjoy working with and handling kitchen products
- Passion for preparing, cooking, and eating food particularly kitchen items
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Solid communication skills including verbal and listening skills
- Ability to accept constructive review and accountability
- Ability to make logical, significant decisions using general, recognized analytical skills and techniques
- Integrity and positive attitude

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services Harmons’ Kitchen provides
- Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Kitchen
- Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- Ensures the Kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- Ordering product and creating production sheets to meet the needs of Harmons’ Kitchen based on past and projected sales
- Active member of the Safety Committee which helps ensure the safety of both customers and associates
- Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- Sets a professional and positive example to others
- Communicates openly and frequently with Store Director and Director of Kitchen Operations
- Ensures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
- Teaches, mentors, and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team
- Provides honest, direct, and constant feedback to associates regarding their performance and areas of improvement
- Assesses associate performance and influences promotion, discipline, etc.
- Writing the Kitchen schedule to ensure coverage and meet labor goals
- Quarterly inventory of all Kitchen products
