Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs unassisted
  • Stand for 4-10 hours
  • Push and pull up to 100 lbs
  • Able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable working in hot and cold environments
  • Experience operating heavy machinery
  • Reliable and able to work independently and as a team member
  • Organized and detail-oriented

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years external experience as a cook or two years internal experience
  • One year supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others
  • Good phone etiquette
  • Proficient in written and verbal English
  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Assist customers with their orders
  • Responsible for all aspects of food preparation including grilling, cooking, and baking
  • Making sandwiches and salads
  • Enforce sanitation procedures and product organization
  • Train new cooks, prep cooks, and servers
  • Perform administrative duties such as transfers, inventories, and ordering
  • Oversee kitchen and front-of-the-house operations in the absence of managers
  • Conduct quality control and maintain recipe standards
  • Answer department phone and ensure compliance with company policies
