Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Minimum 3 years of high-volume, full-service restaurant management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or culinary school certification preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and multitasking abilities
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to excellence

Job Duties

  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in planning and directing food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Ensure recipes are followed with precision to maintain consistency and quality
  • Work closely with and train cooks and kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards
  • Monitor staff training processes and regularly review progress and goals with trainers
  • Take a leadership role in quality control, food safety, and compliance with restaurant safety guidelines
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen activities to maintain a productive and clean workspace
  • Oversee food inventory, ordering, and storage to control costs and minimize waste
  • Maintain and uphold the cleanliness and safety standards of all back-of-house facilities and equipment
  • Check and enforce proper food holding and refrigeration temperature logs
  • Step in to manage kitchen operations when the Kitchen Manager is unavailable
  • Collaborate with upper management to achieve operational goals and drive guest satisfaction
