Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certification from culinary school preferred
- At least 3 years experience in a similar kitchen management role
- Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Ability to mentor and train kitchen staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under fast-paced and stressful conditions

Job Duties
- Fill in for the Kitchen Manager in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Follow the Hash Kitchen recipe book with exactness and precision
- Work closely with and train cooks and kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the Hash Kitchen standards
- Monitor training processes and meet regularly with trainers to discuss staff member progress and goals
- Lead in quality control, food safety procedures, and restaurant food safety guidelines
- Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points
- Monitor and enforce the use of temperature log
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks or workers engaged in food preparation
- Maintain back-of-house facilities and equipment to uphold safety and cleanliness standards
- Communicate with the Kitchen Manager regarding safety and cleanliness standards
- Oversee all product orders and products received
- Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products, storage procedures, standard recipes, and waste control procedures
- Perform other duties as required by upper management
