Job Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of high-volume venue experience
  • ServSafe certification and local health and alcohol certifications as required
  • must be positive, fun, coachable and open-minded
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • high guest satisfaction expectations and focus
  • resourceful problem-solving skills
  • consistently maintain high performance standards
  • expected work week of 45 hours minimum with higher-volume seasons
  • basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
  • restaurant and hospitality industry experience
  • must have a flexible schedule

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensures that all guests have an awesome experience and are excited to come back
  • manages operations of the venue including daily decision-making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, and planning
  • monitors inventory and reports to Kitchen Manager
  • sets high food quality standards by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation
  • controls food costs through ordering and receiving products
  • maintains appropriate staffing levels by tracking labor and budgets
  • prepares and coaches staff on daily prep lists and inventory practices
  • actively participates in menu rollouts and develops staff on new menu items
  • verifies product consistency through recipe adherence and portion control
  • reviews ticket times to ensure prompt food delivery
  • maintains smallwares supplies and ordering practices
  • interviews and hires kitchen staff
  • conducts line checks and staff coaching
  • schedules staff using forecasting and labor tools
  • encourages communication across venue departments
  • leads kitchen and shift meetings
  • enforces company uniform and safety standards
  • ensures security procedures to protect staff, guests, and assets
  • controls inventory ordering, receiving, and invoice accuracy
