Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a restaurant or back-of-house environment
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety rules, storage, handling, and preparation
  • Experience preparing all types of dishes, with a focus on Italian cuisine
  • Strong supervisory and communication skills
  • Ability to teach, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff
  • Fluent in English

Job Duties

  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with supervising staff, scheduling, hiring, and training
  • Ensure all food items are stored, prepared, and served according to recipes and portion standards
  • Prepare dishes alongside the kitchen team following Uncle Giuseppe’s recipes
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies
  • Manage inventory, order kitchen materials, and track ingredient usage
  • Collaborate with department managers on menu creation, pricing, and portion sizes
  • Train employees on safe operation of kitchen equipment and proper food handling
  • Perform other duties as assigned
