Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- some college education preferred
- two years of relevant kitchen experience preferred
- current Food Handler's Permit required
- ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle conflict professionally and appropriately
- ability to interpret policies and procedures
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- open availability
- ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday
- good organizational skills
- positive attitude and teamwork orientation
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED and some college education are preferred
- two years of kitchen experience preferred
- current Food Handler's Permit
- ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict
- must enjoy working with and handling kitchen products
- should have a passion for preparing, cooking, and eating food particularly kitchen items
- ability to interpret policies and procedures
- excellent organization and planning skills
- must possess solid communication skills including verbal and listening skills to communicate with and manage diverse groups of people effectively and efficiently
- must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the success of the team
- required to make logical, significant decisions using general, recognized analytical skills and techniques
- must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons' mission and commitment to working collaboratively

Job Duties
- Must have open availability and availability to work weekends and holidays
- follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services Harmons' Kitchen provides
- responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Kitchen
- confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- ensures the Kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- ordering product and creating production sheets to meet the needs of Harmons' Kitchen based on past and projected sales
- active member of the Safety Committee which helps ensure the safety of both customers and associates
- completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- sets a professional and positive example to others
- communicates openly and frequently with Store Director and Director of Kitchen Operations
- ensures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
- teaches, mentors, and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team
- provides honest, direct, and constant feedback to associates regarding their performance and areas of improvement
- assesses associate performance and influences promotion, discipline, etc.
- writing the Kitchen schedule to ensure coverage and meet labor goals
- quarterly inventory of all Kitchen products
