Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • two years of kitchen experience
  • current Food Handler's Permit
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • passion for working with kitchen products
  • ability to handle conflict professionally
  • ability to follow policies and procedures
  • strong organizational and planning skills
  • physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • commitment to safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
  • ensure quality and freshness of all kitchen products and services
  • maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
  • confirm pricing accuracy and signage, especially for promotional items
  • ensure daily cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen to company standards
  • deliver excellent customer service
  • order products and create production sheets based on past and projected sales
  • actively participate in the Safety Committee
  • complete assigned tasks efficiently and timely
  • set a professional and positive example
  • communicate openly with the Store Director and Director of Kitchen Operations
  • maintain company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity
  • teach, mentor, and educate kitchen associates
  • provide honest and direct feedback on associate performance
  • write the kitchen schedule to ensure adequate coverage
  • conduct quarterly inventory of kitchen products
