Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- two years of kitchen experience
- current Food Handler's Permit
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- strong communication skills
- passion for working with kitchen products
- ability to handle conflict professionally
- ability to follow policies and procedures
- strong organizational and planning skills
- physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure quality and freshness of all kitchen products and services
- maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
- confirm pricing accuracy and signage, especially for promotional items
- ensure daily cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen to company standards
- deliver excellent customer service
- order products and create production sheets based on past and projected sales
- actively participate in the Safety Committee
- complete assigned tasks efficiently and timely
- set a professional and positive example
- communicate openly with the Store Director and Director of Kitchen Operations
- maintain company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity
- teach, mentor, and educate kitchen associates
- provide honest and direct feedback on associate performance
- write the kitchen schedule to ensure adequate coverage
- conduct quarterly inventory of kitchen products
