Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or kitchen management
  • Ability to supervise a team and provide hands-on leadership
  • Knowledge of safe food handling procedures
  • Capacity to manage inventory and control waste
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including peak hours

Job Duties

  • Supervises and oversees the production of food
  • Enforces compliance with employment policies in conjunction with management
  • Monitors ticket flow and sets the pace during peak hours
  • Provides hands-on supervision including assisting with serving, hosting, and cooking
  • Conducts formal line taste and temperature checks
  • Manages inventory and tracks waste as directed by Kitchen Manager
  • Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • Monitors and maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
  • Ensures consistency in food and service quality
  • Practices safe food handling procedures
  • Ensures back of house employees follow established recipes and procedures
  • Creates a safe work environment and assists in developing employees
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety standards within the restaurant
  • Promotes and lives the company core values of passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose
