Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- current food handler's permit
- minimum two years kitchen experience
- strong communication skills
- ability to manage conflicts professionally
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks including grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, bending
- ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services
- responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchen
- confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products
- ensures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards
- delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- orders product and creates production sheets to meet needs based on sales
- active member of the safety committee
- completes assigned tasks efficiently and timely
- sets a professional and positive example
- communicates openly with store director and kitchen operations director
- ensures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
- teaches, mentors, and educates associates
- provides honest feedback and assesses performance
- writes kitchen schedule to ensure coverage and meet labor goals
- conducts quarterly inventory of kitchen products
