Must have open availability
current Food Handler's Permit
ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
physical ability to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach
ability to perform repetitive motions and coordinate eye, hand, and foot movements
ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday
ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is preferred
some college education is preferred
two years of kitchen experience preferred
current Food Handler's Permit
ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict
must enjoy working with and handling kitchen products
passion for preparing, cooking, and eating food particularly kitchen items
ability to interpret policies and procedures
excellent organization and planning skills
solid communication skills including verbal and listening skills
ability to handle conflict professionally and appropriately
ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for personal and team success
ability to make logical, significant decisions using general analytical skills and techniques
integrity and a positive attitude
mission-driven and self-directed with passion for Harmons' mission and team collaboration
detail-oriented, forward-focused, and consistent
ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Duties

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services Harmons' Kitchen provides
responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Kitchen
confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
ensures the Kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
delivers excellent customer service to all customers
ordering product and creating production sheets to meet the needs of Harmons' Kitchen based on past and projected sales
active member of the Safety Committee which helps ensure the safety of both customers and associates
completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
sets a professional and positive example to others
communicates openly and frequently with Store Director and Director of Kitchen Operations
ensures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
teaches, mentors, and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team
provides honest, direct, and constant feedback to associates regarding their performance and areas of improvement
assesses associate performance and influences promotion, discipline, etc.
writing the Kitchen schedule to ensure coverage and meet labor goals
quarterly inventory of all Kitchen products
