Job Requirements

A high school diploma or GED
Some college education preferred
Two years of kitchen experience preferred
Current Food Handler's Permit
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Ability to handle physical demands including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to professionally handle conflict
Positive attitude and mission-driven work ethic

Job Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED and some college education preferred
Two years of kitchen experience preferred
Current Food Handler's Permit
Excellent organization and planning skills
Must possess solid communication skills including verbal and listening skills
Ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict
Ability to interpret policies and procedures
Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed
Passion for preparing, cooking, and eating food particularly kitchen items
Ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the team's success
Required to make logical and significant decisions using recognized analytical skills and techniques
Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, personnel minded, detailed, forward focused, and consistent

Job Duties

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services Harmons' Kitchen provides
Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Kitchen
Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
Ensures the Kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets company standards for appearance
Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
Ordering product and creating production sheets to meet the needs of Harmons' Kitchen based on past and projected sales
Active member of the Safety Committee which helps ensure the safety of both customers and associates
Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Sets a professional and positive example to others
Communicates openly and frequently with Store Director and Director of Kitchen Operations
Ensures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
Teaches, mentors, and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team
Provides honest, direct, and constant feedback to associates regarding their performance and areas of improvement
Assesses associate performance and influences promotion, discipline, etc.
Writing the Kitchen schedule to ensure coverage and meet labor goals
Quarterly inventory of all Kitchen products
