Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- good communication skills in English
- proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is advantageous
- basic understanding of profit and loss management
- ability to interpret data and market information
- good computer skills in MS applications
- knowledge of workplace health and safety protocols
- interest and knowledge in merchandise management and implementation
- familiarity with relevant tools and equipment
- strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide hands-on support and assistance to the Department Head
- manage department performance and attain departmental goals
- manage and supervise daily operations and staff performance
- provide coaching, on-the-job training, shadowing, and guidance to department staff
- supervise Kitchen Deli Assistants and ensure fair work distribution and checklist execution
- promote teamwork and create an inclusive working environment
- manage product ordering process and execution
- follow company pricing principles and collaborate with Merchandising Department on pricing strategies
- conduct quality and inventory control
- maintain cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance, and workplace safety
- oversee product quality, food safety, freshness and enforce FIFO practices
- maintain and update UPC pricing and ensure accurate product labeling
- ensure BBQ, Hot Foods, Dim Sum, Sushi, and other products are properly packaged and displayed
- lead by example by performing required hands-on duties in the Kitchen Department
