Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food and beverage or hospitality management
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of guest service protocols
  • proficiency in budgeting and inventory management
  • ability to handle guest complaints and special requests effectively

Job Duties

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees and supervisors in the In-Room Dining Department to ensure established cultural and core standards are met
  • plan daily activities and operations for the outlet
  • be visible in the operation to provide recognition and promote good public relations
  • handle complaints, concerns, or special requests from guests, clients, and group contacts
  • ensure quality and timeliness of all food items and provide knowledge of wine and spirits
  • control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory, and cash control
  • attend regular operational meetings to coordinate with other departments
  • observe the physical condition of facilities and equipment and recommend corrections and improvements
