Job Requirements
- Education in hospitality or related field
- Two to three years progressive managerial or supervisory experience in luxury hotel housekeeping
- Experience in a unionized work environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality software such as OPERA PMS and HotSOS
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage teams effectively
- US work authorization required unless currently a Four Seasons manager
- Excellent English verbal and written communication
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years of progressive managerial or supervisory experience in a luxury hotel with experience in Housekeeping
- Experience managing within a unionized work environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task on several assignments at once
- Ability to operate computer equipment and several other computer programs
- Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous experience with OPERA PMS and HotSOS
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Additional language a definite asset for career growth
- Completion of Post Secondary Education in Hospitality or related field
Job Duties
- Ensure guest accommodation and all areas front and back of house are maintained in spotless condition
- Establish and control planned cleaning schedules
- Work closely with Front Office to ensure timely readiness of guest accommodations to Four Seasons standards
- Assist Supervisors with training and supervision of Housekeeping staff
- Assume responsibility for the Department in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director of Housekeeping
- Manage day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department
- Maintain strong communication with other departments to support guest satisfaction
