Job Requirements

  • Minimum three to five years progressive housekeeping inspection or supervisory experience with hospitality industry
  • strong organizational and leadership qualities
  • interpersonal skills and dedicated commitment to excellence
  • ability to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • reach with hands and arms
  • climb or balance
  • stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
  • talk, hear and taste or smell
  • ability to stand, walk, and move through resort property for 80 percent of assigned shift
  • ability to remain in stationary position 20 percent of assigned shift
  • maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
  • adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment and lift up to 50 pounds
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist in coordinating checkout, clean and vacant rooms status with Guest Services
  • submit work order items for repairs with the Maintenance department as necessary
  • inspect all check outs prior to turning them into the Front Desk to ensure compliance with Company SOPs
  • complete and file room inspection forms
  • work as a team in unison with all members of staff to ensure an efficiently organized and operated department
  • provide training, mentoring, and coaching to housekeeping staff
  • act as Housekeeping Manager/Executive Housekeeper in absence
