Job Requirements

  • Ability to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to climb or balance
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
  • Ability to talk, hear, taste or smell
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the resort property 80 percent of assigned shift
  • Ability to remain stationary 20 percent of assigned shift
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deal effectively with customers, management, employees, and business community
  • Adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three to five years progressive housekeeping inspection or supervisory experience in the hospitality industry
  • Strong organizational and leadership qualities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated commitment to excellence
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures

Job Duties

  • Assist in coordinating checkout and clean room status with Guest Services
  • Submit work orders for repairs to Maintenance department
  • Inspect all check outs before turning rooms into Front Desk
  • Ensure rooms are cleaned and furnished according to company SOPs
  • Complete and file room inspection forms
  • Provide leadership support in daily Housekeeping and Laundry operations
  • Assist in training, mentoring and coaching housekeeping staff
