Job Requirements

  • Work authorization in the United States required
  • Ability to manage and lead a housekeeping team
  • Experience in luxury hotel housekeeping preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent time management skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to train and evaluate staff effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with scheduling and performance management
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Manage a shift of housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to standards
  • Manage team of Room Attendants and House Attendants responsible for cleaning and upkeep
  • Interview, train and schedule housekeeping staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and discipline staff when necessary
  • Monitor daily progress and inspect completed rooms to assure standards
  • Coordinate work orders and follow up to ensure completion
  • Assure sufficient supplies on guest floors and check cleanliness of corridors, stairwells, elevators, and linen closets
