Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three to five years progressive housekeeping inspection/supervisory experience with hospitality industry
  • Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Climb or balance
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
  • Talk to hear and taste or smell
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the hotel/resort property 80 percent of assigned shift
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 20 percent of assigned shift
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment and engage in lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three to five years progressive Housekeeping Inspection/Supervisory experience within the hospitality industry

Job Duties

  • Assist in coordinating checkout, clean and vacant rooms' status with Guest Services
  • Submit work order items for repairs with the Maintenance department as necessary
  • Inspect all check outs prior to turning them into the Front Desk to ensure cleanliness and adherence to SOPs
  • Complete and file room inspection forms
  • Provide leadership support and act as Housekeeping Manager/Executive Housekeeper in their absence
  • Assist in development, training, mentoring, and coaching of housekeeping staff
  • Work as a team with all staff members to ensure efficient department operation
