Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years management experience in rooms division or related hospitality field
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to respond professionally to guest issues and emergencies

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years previous Rooms Division Management experience
  • Experience in a luxury, fast-paced environment preferred
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Direct and control the activities of the Bell Staff and Driveway Staff
  • Interview and select job applicants for Valet Parking and schedule them efficiently
  • Complete all payroll records accurately and on time
  • Train and supervise staff, perform performance evaluations and discipline as needed
  • Ensure a high level of personalized, friendly and courteous guest service
  • Securely handle all vehicles and keys
  • Maximize revenue through accurate collection and posting of parking charges
  • Coordinate use of other garages and ensure proper reconciliation of charges
  • Facilitate cooperation between valet parking and concierge staff
  • Work closely with hotel departments on special guest or group parking needs
  • Ensure staff familiarity with hotel facilities and local geography
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and keep management informed
  • Respond properly to hotel emergencies and safety situations
  • Act as liaison for house car operations
  • Follow up on vehicle damage claims professionally
  • Supervise valet runners, lead men, and doormen, ensuring correct payroll and schedules
