Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or leadership roles within luxury hospitality
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- proficiency in guest services management
- ability to lead, supervise and motivate a team
- knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- exceptional customer service orientation
- familiarity with hotel reservation and billing systems
- capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- commitment to maintaining high service standards
Job Duties
- Oversees the guest services and front drive operations and acts as the manager on duty when senior managers are not available
- supervises, trains and motivates employees within guest services and valet departments
- helps manage the staff at guest services
- directs all activities to ensure communications and follow-up on problems, guest requests or special requirements
- reviews and monitors schedules of staff within the department
- monitors activities to assure standards are met, staff is supported and guest needs are fulfilled
- resolves customer complaints and handles guest interactions with professionalism, accommodating special requests
- assists customers with inquiries related to hotel services, hours, personnel, events and directions
- responds to guest requests accurately and timely, in person and by phone
- coordinates arrivals and departures ensuring discrepancies are resolved
- reviews daily arrivals for special attention to guests, return guests and groups
- takes action related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of guests and employees in absence of senior managers
- responds swiftly to hotel emergencies or safety situations
- assists valet and door attendants in delivering check-in and check-out standards
- directs and personally performs duties such as welcoming, registering and checking out guests, explaining accommodations and billing
- provides personalized guest service and ensures compliance with Four Seasons policies
