Job Requirements

  • Education not explicitly required but relevant hospitality experience preferred
  • Minimum previous hotel experience
  • Experience in guest-facing roles
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and provide resolutions
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Knowledge of hospitality software systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage a team and lead operations
  • Reliable and motivated to work in a customer-focused environment

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous hotel experience
  • Experience in a guest-facing role
  • General knowledge of hotel loyalty programs
  • Proven track record in VIP guest management
  • Experience in a Four Diamond organization
  • Prior experience with Hyatt preferred
  • Working knowledge of hotel systems including PMS, POS, and reservations
  • Must be available for varied, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software such as Opera, Colleague Advantage, and Reserve

Job Duties

  • Pre-arrival communications with guests via texting and email
  • Work in tandem with Front Office and Concierge team to meet guest needs
  • Assist VIP guests during stay and attend VIP arrivals and departures
  • Update guest profiles with preferences for future customization
  • Manage guest communications and resolve complaints via in-person, phone, and digital channels
  • Participate in daily service meetings to share guest feedback
  • Assist Front Office in training, supervising, and organizing staff
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintain adherence to standards
  • Monitor and motivate front office team members
  • Manage security procedures and emergency protocols
  • Generate reports and communicate information internally
  • Assist in budget management and profitability for the rooms department
  • Authorize payment methods and monitor guest credit status
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, local area, and transportation
  • Fulfill Manager on Duty shifts as needed
