Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active Class 'A' or 'B' membership in the PGA or LPGA
  • Valid TABC Server Permit or ability to apply within 60 days of employment
  • At least one year of golf operations experience including supervisory duties
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force regularly
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • some college coursework or specialized golf-related training preferred
  • Active Class 'A' or 'B' membership in the PGA or LPGA, with acceptable progress reviewed yearly
  • Valid TABC Server Permit or ability to apply within 60 days of employment
  • At least one year of progressively responsible golf operations experience including supervisory or instructional duties

Job Duties

  • Plan, schedule, supervise, and evaluate the work of Golf Shop Personnel and Starters
  • Participate in hiring, discipline, and termination decisions for part-time staff
  • Oversee daily opening and closing procedures and enforce cash-handling policies
  • Manage tee sheet oversight, merchandise control, and POS systems
  • Lead golf tournaments, outings, leagues, and special events ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase rounds and event participation
  • Perform golf instructional duties including individual lessons, clinics, and junior programs
