  • PGA professional certification
  • excellent communication and people skills

  • knowledge of the game of golf and retail operations
  • proficient in computer applications

Job Duties

  • Report to the General Manager
  • operate and manage a neat and orderly Golf Shop for sales of golf supplies and merchandise
  • supervise bag room operations for storage and cleaning of members golf bags and clubs
  • provide golf instruction by appointment
  • supervise the daily cleaning and care of golf carts
  • control the tee sheet and adjust pricing based on demand
  • operate and manage the driving range and practice area
  • configure and operate the club's computer application for tournament event scoring
  • maintain complete records and accounts related to golf shop sales, club services, cart rentals, green fees, and golf outings
  • assist and supervise golf programs and tournaments, including coordination of outside golf outings and event management
  • maintain a PGA professional certification
  • act professionally at all times
