Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- provide valid documentation upon hire
- possess valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
- maintain mobility and range of motion required for golf activities
- operate computer and office equipment
- move about indoor and outdoor club facilities
- stand and walk for extended periods
- maintain professional presence
- associate’s degree or equivalent required
- minimum one year relevant experience
- PGA Class A membership or enrollment required
Job Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- minimum one year experience in golf operations, retail, or outside member services at premium golf facility
- PGA Class A Member in good standing or enrolled in PGA Professional Golf Management Program
- advanced knowledge of golf operations, tournament administration, merchandising, and POS systems
- previous experience in private club, luxury resort, or high-end golf environment preferred
- proven record of exceptional member and guest service
- strong aesthetic awareness and attention to detail
- high level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability
- ability to lead through influence and collaboration
- deep understanding of USGA Rules of Golf
- proficiency in point-of-sale and scheduling platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- strong organizational and time management skills
- exceptional attention to detail
- highly adaptable and solutions-oriented
- ability to perform mathematical calculations
- demonstrated problem-solving skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to interpret and apply Club policies and standards
- commitment to flexible schedule including holidays and weekends

Job Duties
- Serve as a front-line representative of MPCC’s hospitality culture
- greet every member and guest by name when possible
- anticipate member needs and proactively offer solutions
- create a seamless arrival and departure experience by coordinating with staff
- resolve service challenges discreetly and empathetically
- maintain knowledge of Club programs and amenities
- oversee presentation and operation of the professional shop
- manage sales transactions and reporting
- maintain merchandising standards
- offer personalized guidance on golf apparel and equipment
- assist in planning and presentation of merchandise
- cultivate relationships with premium vendors
- maintain organized inventory controls
- support visual merchandising refreshes
- assist in tournament operations including registration, pairings, scoring and awards
- utilize Golf Genius software
- maintain understanding of tournament rules and pace of play
- support the Head Golf Professional in member events
- deliver individual and group golf instruction
- promote enjoyment and etiquette of golf
- foster an encouraging learning environment
- exhibit leadership and integrity
- collaborate with golf professionals and other departments
- maintain composure under pressure
- represent MPCC with elegance and humility
- attend departmental meetings prepared with ideas and solutions
- demonstrate emotional intelligence in service
