Job Requirements

  • high school education
  • degree in hotel management, business or related major
  • five or more years of related experience
  • advanced knowledge of housekeeping and hotel services principles
  • strong leadership skills
  • proficiency in accounting and budgeting
  • ability to make sound business decisions
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably Fosse
  • ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and extended periods of standing and walking
  • must comply with legal employment requirements

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma plus degree in hotel management, business or related field
  • five or more years of related hotel management experience
  • advanced knowledge of housekeeping and hotel services
  • proficiency in accounting and budgeting
  • ability to analyze data and make sound business decisions
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Fosse preferred
  • demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • assist the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations
  • ensure guest service excellence and adherence to brand standards
  • manage engineering, rooms, food and beverage, accounting and human resources departments
  • recommend and manage budgets, business plans and capital expenditures
  • directly manage assigned staff and indirectly oversee all employees
  • articulate company goals and motivate associates to achieve them
  • ensure compliance with local, state and national regulations
