Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years hotel operations experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate Microsoft Office, Front Office PMS, and ServicePro
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage diverse teams
  • Ability to work varying schedules
  • Comply with all company policies and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of hotel operations experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Front Office PMS, and ServicePro
  • College degree in hotel or restaurant management preferred
  • Food Handler Certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise front desk and food and beverage operations
  • Hire, train, and schedule staff
  • Maintain periodic personnel appraisals
  • Purchase food and beverage items to ensure availability
  • Assist General Manager with scheduling and business planning
  • Act as General Manager in their absence
  • Monitor control of supplies, keys, monies, and credit
  • Meet budgetary and financial objectives
  • Interpret and enforce hotel policies and regulations
  • Maintain high morale and low employee turnover
  • Manage the replenishment and appearance of food service areas
  • Perform visible management in multiple hotel areas
  • Execute line co-worker duties under high volume or emergencies
  • Utilize computer systems for forecasting and revenue analysis
  • Oversee food and beverage outlet standards and conduct taste tests
  • Respond to guest inquiries and coordinate special requests
  • Ensure safety and security of guests and staff
  • Monitor employee attendance and conduct follow-ups
  • Work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Maintain neat, clean, and groomed appearance following brand standards
  • Comply fully with company rules and safety regulations
  • Support sustainability initiatives within departments
  • Maintain open-door policy and oversee coworker relations
  • Observe competitor operations for marketing insights
  • Prepare for advancement to General Manager positions
  • Participate in Manager on Duty shifts
  • Perform other duties as assigned
