Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management or a related field
  • at least 4 years of management experience in the hotel industry
  • ability to fluently speak, read and understand English
  • familiarity with OSHA regulations
  • knowledge of local Department of Health regulations
  • understanding of laws governing the handling of hazardous substances
  • willingness to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand, walk, carry/lift up to 25 pounds, bend, twist and climb stairs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Interview and hire new employees
  • receives and resolves guest complaints
  • assigns duties to department heads and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures
  • support the General Manager in establishing and monitoring policies and guidelines in the day-to-day operation of the hotel
  • steps in and acts as General Manager in their absence
