Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Minimum 5 years management experience in food or concessions industry
- Valid Food Handlers certificate
- Valid Alcohol Service Permit if required by state or local government
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Availability to work variable, event-driven schedule including evenings and weekends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Knowledge of labor laws, sanitation, food safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Ability to manage employee relations and conduct employment actions
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports
- Ability to maintain high standards of professionalism and ethics
- Physical and mental ability to work in a fast-paced live event environment

Job Qualifications
- BA or BS with a business-related major
- Accounting minor or credits preferred
- Minimum 5 years management experience in food-related or concessions industry
- Concessions Manager Certificate from the National Association of Concessionaires
- Advanced food service sanitation training certification
- Effective communication skills with employees, volunteers, management, and guests
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly under pressure
- Proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS, and timekeeping systems
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Thorough knowledge of concessions and premium services locations
- Valid Food Handlers certificate
- Valid Alcohol Service Permit if required
- Familiarity with inventory cost control and menu planning
- Knowledge of sanitation requirements, food prep, alcohol policies, and safety standards
- Ability to perform basic and complex math functions
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently with little direction
Job Duties
- Assist in overall effective management of catering operations
- Ensure total compliance with alcohol service policies
- Monitor alcohol service throughout events for compliance
- Manage catered events from setup to teardown, including communication with staff and guests
- Ensure legal, efficient, professional, and profitable venue operations
- Generate and review financial reports such as budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements
- Resolve conflicts, including mediation, arbitration, and labor negotiations
- Author, review, and amend policies and procedures as directed
- Author and amend contracts with authorization from the General Manager
- Oversee scheduling and labor allocation
- Analyze ticket sales to anticipate staffing needs and project sales ratios
- Evaluate sales and purchasing patterns for cost accuracy
- Program and maintain point of sale systems for financial tracking
- Assist managers in preparing and attaining future goals
- Provide managers with direction and follow-up on assignments
- Inspect operations regularly to maintain quality standards
- Prepare and submit reports accurately and on time
- Develop an effective management team
- Assist in evaluating and improving manager performance
- Review and assist in menu and marketing plan development
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with show managers, suppliers, vendors, and the public
