Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management or related field
- Minimum of 4 years management experience in the hotel industry
- Fluent speaker, reader and writer of English
- Knowledge of OSHA standards
- Familiarity with local Department of Health regulations and relevant laws
- Ability to accommodate varying work schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to move around extensively and lift up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management or a related field
- At least 4 years of management experience in the hotel industry
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Familiarity with OSHA standards
- Knowledge of local Department of Health regulations
- Understanding of current laws governing the handling of hazardous substances
- Strong leadership and team player attitude
Job Duties
- Interview and hire new employees
- Receive and resolve guest complaints
- Assign duties to department heads and observe performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures
- Support the General Manager in establishing and monitoring policies and guidelines in the day-to-day operation of the hotel
- Step in and act as General Manager in their absence
