Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years management experience in the hotel industry
  • Fluent speaker, reader and writer of English
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards
  • Familiarity with local Department of Health regulations and relevant laws
  • Ability to accommodate varying work schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to move around extensively and lift up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management or a related field
  • At least 4 years of management experience in the hotel industry
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards
  • Knowledge of local Department of Health regulations
  • Understanding of current laws governing the handling of hazardous substances
  • Strong leadership and team player attitude

Job Duties

  • Interview and hire new employees
  • Receive and resolve guest complaints
  • Assign duties to department heads and observe performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures
  • Support the General Manager in establishing and monitoring policies and guidelines in the day-to-day operation of the hotel
  • Step in and act as General Manager in their absence
