Job Requirements

  • prior experience in hospitality or hotel operations
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • assist general manager in managing hotel day-to-day operations
  • manage hourly staff including scheduling directing overseeing daily activities and training
  • provide leadership to promote exceptional workplace
  • ensure safety and security procedures compliance
  • handle guest service issues and resolve timely
  • promote compliance with company policies and procedures
  • participate in budgetary control including labor monitoring and expense control
  • assist with interviewing onboarding and training new associates
  • serve as manager on duty in absence of general manager
  • inspect guest rooms and provide operational relief across departments
  • manage purchase order process and product ordering
  • monitor cash management and guest balances
  • assist with hotel sales activities
  • monitor social media and respond appropriately
