Job Duties

  • Understand and enforce policies
  • Guarantee that all guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly service at all times
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards
  • Meet company objectives in sales, service, quality, facility appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness through employee training and fostering a positive, productive working environment
  • Manage cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures as per restaurant policies
  • Step in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
  • Continuously strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional growth
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules, in an organized and timely manner
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through regular inspections and following preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition, and that deliveries are performed according to the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures
  • Be knowledgeable of and enforce restaurant personnel policies, administering prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any violations
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal health, safety, and labor regulations
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement
