Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management or similar role
  • proficiency in POS systems, preferably Toast
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • capable of managing multiple priorities and solving problems efficiently
  • knowledge of food safety standards and labor laws
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the store operations and make final decisions on matters of importance
  • be go to person for all things Toast/POS related
  • lead and coach other employees and managers to ensure their growth personally and professionally
  • manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
  • assist with opening/closing duties as needed with flexibility to work throughout the week
  • ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents, complete accident reports promptly
  • investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
  • ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests, and company assets
  • work with leadership on achievement of food costs, labor costs, operating expenses, sales, and profitability goals
  • ensure all financial and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately and on time in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs
  • ensure consistent high quality of food preparation and service
  • maintain professional restaurant image including cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards
  • estimate food and beverage costs, supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste
  • ensure positive guest service in all areas and respond to complaints taking appropriate actions
  • ensure full compliance with all HR policies and procedures for store employees
  • conduct orientation, oversee training of new employees, provide ongoing feedback, establish performance expectations and conduct performance reviews
  • maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs
  • provide strong presence in local community and high level of community involvement by restaurant and personnel, always upholding the image of Wright's Barbecue
  • perform additional reasonable requests or responsibilities by GM, COO, or Owners at any time
