Job Requirements
- Degree from accredited college or university preferred
- At least 3-5 years experience in event management
- Minimum 3 years supervising others
- 3 or more years experience in event production
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and professional presence
- Must work on-site at the Mobile Arena
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must have strong organizational and leadership skills

- Proven ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, guests, and volunteers
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, event-driven team environment
Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of event management including front and back of house activities for arena events
- Manage and provide leadership for employees in events, guest services, box office, and security departments
- Lead and coordinate training for front of house part-time staff
- Develop and administer operating budgets for events, security, and box office departments ensuring cost efficiency
- Develop and manage individual event budgets and forecasts throughout the year
- Create proformas for all arena events
- Implement and oversee customer service programs to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Communicate effectively with the Event Programming department regarding upcoming events and calendar management
- Develop and update event management policies and manuals
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, stakeholders, and facility users
- Coordinate event details with promoters, producers, and city officials as needed
- Act as a primary Executive on Duty at all arena events
- Assist finance department with event financial settlements
- Prepare regular department and staff reports
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with union representatives such as IATSE
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
