Job Requirements

- High school diploma or high school equivalency required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prefer 2 years of hands-on restaurant management experience
- ServSafe Certified preferred or able to obtain certification prior to completion of training
- Valid driver's license

Job Duties
- Manage, supervise and direct all hourly employees including their daily activities, work assignments, time off requests, and unique needs
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations, coaching, and offer corrective discipline and counseling as necessary
- Observe kitchen operations and promptly address any issues out of alignment
- Direct employees' work including setting hours, weekly schedules, and task assignments before, during, and after restaurant hours
- Drive sales and guest satisfaction while managing food costs, inventory levels, utility usage, and health department ratings
- Ensure food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation of food products
- Execute the CHARM Service Model consistently with every guest
- Provide, direct and schedule training for front and back of house to ensure all team members are knowledgeable about company policies and procedures
- Supervise production and preparation of food and beverages according to established recipes and procedures
- Resolve guest recovery situations using discretion
- Follow Operations Playbook to maintain consistent daily operations and address staffing compliance issues
- Utilize digital manager logbook to communicate shift notes, product needs, equipment repairs, and staffing information
- Enforce security measures to maintain the safety of employees and guests, including counseling or discipline when appropriate
- Manage and recommend cost control measures for food, supplies and liquor expenses, conduct weekly inventory and recommend adjustments
- Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures and enforce these for all staff
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, wage and hour regulations, and filing responsibilities
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and repaired as needed to prevent accidents
- Manage processes including line checks, pull thaw, prep lists, food inventory, beverage costs, and truck orders
- Coach team to ensure food and beverages meet recipe specifications on portion, preparation, and presentation
- Maintain valid food safety certification and local compliance certifications, securing new certificates when necessary
- Execute new initiatives including new product and menu rollouts demonstrating creativity and initiative
