Job Requirements
- Ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours each week including opening busy day parts and closing shifts
- Knowledge of all applicable federal state and local sanitary safety and health standards and procedures to comply with HACCP standards
- Exempt position under Fair Labor Standards Act
- Ability to monitor restaurant associates work activities during varied shift hours
- Ability to maintain compliance with company policies and adult beverage regulations
- Maintain current contact information for all associates working in the restaurant
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of six years of food and beverage cash handling and customer service experience
- At least four years of supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen
- Ability to speak read and comprehend instructions short correspondence and policy documents
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable health safety and sanitary standards
- Ability to resolve customer and employee issues professionally
Job Duties
- Completes opening daily and closing procedures and checklists in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assists the General Manager and Food and Beverage Multi Unit Manager in managing and supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a defined group of restaurants or points-of-sale
- Interviews job candidates and makes hiring termination advancement promotion or other status change decisions for associates within the unit
- Reads and understands financial and operational data and reports to monitor progress towards unit goals and assigns associates to meet those objectives
- Ensures compliance with all company adult beverage policies and ensures all restaurant staff understand and follow these procedures
- Assigns work tasks and prepares schedules to ensure that all shifts are covered
- Operates cash registers and voids transactions as needed while following all cash handling policies and maintains proper security of cash at all times
