Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • must be 21 years of age or older
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience required
  • previous experience as Assistant General Manager in a high-volume, luxury, or fine-dining restaurant preferred
  • previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce short-term profitability
  • assist General Manager with managing human resources responsibilities including coaching, counseling, hiring, training, and succession planning
  • interact with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints
  • manage restaurant's guest feedback channels following company protocols
  • collaborate with culinary team to deliver seamless service
  • enforce policies, operating procedures, training programs, menus, rules, and regulations for restaurant staff
  • maintain high standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness
  • ensure completion of compliance training by restaurant staff
  • maintain excellent knowledge of food and beverage products, menu items, and equipment
