Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent
  • valid driver's license to travel between units
  • satisfactory background check
  • ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • 2 years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
  • proven ability to manage multiple departments
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • motivated and self-directed
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and enforce company policies
  • capability to work in fast paced environment
  • physical ability to perform lifting tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
  • successfully managed each department including Greeter/Cashier, Hospitality, Bar and HOH for a minimum of three periods each
  • strong organizational skills
  • professional written and verbal communication skills
  • motivated and results driven
  • ability to create a fun and exciting environment
  • skilled in basic math computations
  • track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and enforce company policies

Job Duties

  • Assist General Manager with overall restaurant staffing planning
  • assist other managers with hiring decisions for all departments
  • conduct informative, focused weekly manager meetings with General Manager
  • create, develop and implement incentive programs and contests with Department Managers
  • motivate Team Members to participate in company promotions and incentives
  • provide performance feedback and recognition to Department Managers and Team Members
  • coach managers on effective performance management procedures
  • assist with performance management and development of assigned Department Managers
  • actively identify techniques to attract new guests
  • manage the restaurant's Guest Comment program and handle guest complaints
  • facilitate and ensure adherence to new food product rollouts
  • ensure quality standards, recipe adherence and portioning are met
  • communicate operational areas of opportunity to Department Managers
  • coach managers and Team Members on quality, service and cleanliness standards
  • analyze performance measurement tools and troubleshoot issues
  • create and implement action plans to address problem areas
  • conduct administrative functions including invoice entry, inventory and end of day procedures
  • manage repair and maintenance programs
  • hold Department Managers accountable for departmental costs
  • maintain proper inventory levels of food and paper products
  • participate in departmental meetings and assist with communication
  • establish daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly projections
  • understand P&L statements and create action plans
  • assist in annual restaurant budget development
  • teach Department Managers profit goal achievement and problem-solving
  • complete other assigned duties or tasks as needed
