Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum one year managerial experience in a relevant food service environment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset
- Professionalism and high integrity
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergencies
- Physical capability to stand, sit, squat, walk for long periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of management experience preferably in a high-volume, full-service or polished fast casual restaurant
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- High integrity and professionalism
- Hospitality education such as a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with UltiPro, Toast POS, CrunchTime or TeamworX is a plus
- Certifications like ServSafe, Allergen, and ChokeSaver are desirable
Job Duties
- Support the general manager in daily operations and business ownership
- Model authentic and warm guest experiences and instill great service in the team
- Recruit, hire, and train new team members who embody Tatte's cultural values
- Manage team performance and develop managers and hourly staff
- Lead and navigate difficult conversations effectively
- Uphold Tatte's brand and visual standards continuously
- Ensure food safety compliance in the café
- Lead operational execution efficiently and effectively
- Support change management by communicating new products, services, and operational updates
- Manage food, labor, and controllable costs within company guidelines
- Assist with café administrative requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
