Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment
  • Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and guest service abilities
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and compliance regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of high-volume restaurant management experience
  • Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Proficient in budgeting and inventory control
  • Experience with training and development of staff

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce short-term profitability
  • Execute on the restaurant’s business plan and assist General Manager with developing and executing tactics to achieve goals and targets
  • Assist General Manager with managing Human Resources responsibilities including creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
  • Quality hiring, training and succession planning process that encompass the company’s diversity commitment
  • Adherence to company’s third party representation philosophy and compliance with policies, legal requirements, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements
  • Interact with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience
  • React to guest complaints and take appropriate action
  • Manage guest feedback channels through approved company practices
  • Work alongside culinary team to ensure seamless service experience between kitchen and dining room
  • Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, rules and regulations for restaurant staff
  • Own restaurant’s execution of F&B and company-wide initiatives and programs
  • Maintain highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness within all beverage areas
  • Responsible for completion of all company compliance training by restaurant staff
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of venue’s food and beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform duties
